Just like in the past, the performances of big national and international music stars are one of the highlights at the Premios 40 Principales. In 2009 it won’t be any different! This year we’ve even outdone ourselves, for the first three live performers, going to perform on the show on December 11, are all world-famous artists: Shakira, Robbie Williams and NELLY FURTADO.

The three of them are releasing or have released a new album this year and they are currently amongst the most popular music stars. At the “Palacio de Deportes (EN = ‘Sport’s Palace’) they are going to present their latest albums and who knows, maybe they’re going to perform their Top 40 singles Loba, Manos al Aire oder Bodies. They’ve announced the nominations yesterday (October 10, 2009). Nelly herself is nominated twice and also James Morrison has been nominated with the song “Broken Strings”, which he’d released with Nelly and went to number 1 in the German single charts, as you probably know.

Two and a half years after her last appearance, Nelly Furtado is Thomas Gottschalk’s guest once again tonight. She’s going to perform live presenting her new album Mi Plan which is available since September 11. If she’s also going to stay for a small talk on the couch hasn’t been confirmed yet.
