On August 28th 2010 a festival called “Orange Warsaw Festival” took place in Poland. Nelly Furtado joined it. Furthermore “Bestfan” arranged a Meet & Greet. Two fans were able to win it by taking a photo of themselves and their ticket for the festival. The winners were drawn by lot and announced by Bestfan and even by Nelly Furtado herself. Unfortunately the concert was not shown on TV but the Polish TV station TVN is going to show it on September 11th and 12th. The Polish radio station ZET will also play it but we don’t know a particular date yet.

Furthermore Nelly Furtado had a special surprise for her fans. She sang “Girlfriend In This City” and “Free” which she never performed before. Maybe these songs will be on her upcoming album “Lifestyle” but that’s not sure yet.

On Saturday 7/24/10 the “REVENTON Super Estrella” concert took place in Los Angeles. Some of the singers were Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, Alejandra Guzman and also Nelly Furtado. Nelly Furtado performed 6 songs – Manos al Aire, Bajo Otra Luz, Fuerte, Sexy Movimiento & No Hay Igual, Fotografía & Te Busqué and Más. The concert was produced by the radio station “Super Estrella”. On their website you find many videos and pictures.

Every year, the Billboard Latin Music Awards honor the most popular Latin artists. The categories here-fore are: best song, best album and “airplays”. Nelly has been nominated 4 times running against Latin stars like Shakira. The Billboard Latin Awards will be held in Puerto Rico April 29, 2010 starting at 7 p.m. ( April 30, 2010 – 1 a.m. MEZ).

The dates for Nelly Furtado’s “Mi Plan”-Tour have been officially announced. Starting March 13, 2010 in Guadalajara (Mexico), she will perform in Monterrey (Mexico), Mexico City (Mexico), Caracas (Mexico), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Santiago (Chile), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Porto Alegre (Brazil), and Sao Paulo (Brazil) before the first leg of the tour ends in Rio De Janeiro (Brazil) on March 28, 2010. The second leg will start in the summer when she’ll tour the US and Europe with a mixture of her Spanish album “Mi Plan” and her new album “Lifestyle”, which is due May 25, 2010. There haven’t been announced any specific tour dates at this point though.

On May 25, 2010; Nelly Furtado is supposed to release her 5th album, which will be mainly recorded in English again – according to her statements on Twitter. Her upcoming tour will start in South America in March focusing on the Spanish album ‘Mi Plan’, published in September 2009, as well as on the 5th CD of Nelly Furtado. So far, confirmed cities for her tour are for instance Buenos Aires (Argentina), Lima (Peru) and Bogota (Colombia). She will probably come to Europe in the summer of 2010. However, there aren’t any countries or dates confirmed yet.
Furthermore, Nelly Furtado will perform at the Olympic Winter Games that will take place from February 12 until February 28 in Vancouver, Canada (her home country).
