After the “Orange Warsaw Festival” in Poland a new interview appeared. In this interview Nelly explains she’s not sure if the new songs “Girlfriend In This City” and “Free” will be on her upcoming album. The reason is that the songs leaked to the internet. “We might just throw them in the show for fun. I think fans want it at this point.” Furthermore Nelly is thinking about recording another album before “Lifestyle” because there are so many songs she never released. But even if she changed her plan about “Lifestyle” – that’s what the fans love about her. The ability to inspire her fans with new ideas. We are very excited to see and hear what Nelly is going to do in the future.

On September 3rd Nelly Furtado was honored to perform at the “Ravinia Festival” in the Highland Park of Illinois. She peformed songs of all of her albums “Whoa, Nelly!”, “Folklore”, “Loose” and “Mi Plan”. Ravinia is not the only great artist Nelly Furtado has worked with. She collaborated with Missy Elliot, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Alejandro Fernandez and Alex Cuba who is one of the producers of her latest album “Mi Plan”. One of the highlights was definitely the piano version of “Try” which is on her second album “Folklore”. Also a new thing was the rock mix of “Turn Off The Light” which is one of the singles of “Whoa, Nelly!”. Even a new song premiered: “Time Stands Still”. It is a song which belongs to a musical Nelly is in, “Score: A Hockey Musical”. “Typical of Nelly Furtado! All of her energy animated the audience to dance with her!”, is one of the statements of the concertgoers.

On August 28th 2010 a festival called “Orange Warsaw Festival” took place in Poland. Nelly Furtado joined it. Furthermore “Bestfan” arranged a Meet & Greet. Two fans were able to win it by taking a photo of themselves and their ticket for the festival. The winners were drawn by lot and announced by Bestfan and even by Nelly Furtado herself. Unfortunately the concert was not shown on TV but the Polish TV station TVN is going to show it on September 11th and 12th. The Polish radio station ZET will also play it but we don’t know a particular date yet.

Furthermore Nelly Furtado had a special surprise for her fans. She sang “Girlfriend In This City” and “Free” which she never performed before. Maybe these songs will be on her upcoming album “Lifestyle” but that’s not sure yet.

On Saturday 7/24/10 the “REVENTON Super Estrella” concert took place in Los Angeles. Some of the singers were Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, Alejandra Guzman and also Nelly Furtado. Nelly Furtado performed 6 songs – Manos al Aire, Bajo Otra Luz, Fuerte, Sexy Movimiento & No Hay Igual, Fotografía & Te Busqué and Más. The concert was produced by the radio station “Super Estrella”. On their website you find many videos and pictures.

Even though Nellys new album has been deferred indefinitely, there have been published more songs with her as collaboration partner. Now Pharell Williams, who is a producer Nelly has already worked with, could gain her participation in a project of his band N.E.R.D. Since yesterday (May 31th) the new single “Hot N Fun” can be downloaded and from June 18th 2010 you can buy it in stores.

Nelly has been nominated 4 times running against Latin stars like Shakira. The Billboard Latin Awards will be held in Puerto Rico April 29, 2010 starting at 7 p.m. ( April 30, 2010 – 1 a.m. MEZ).
