Nelly Furtado on Ravinia Festival

On September 3rd Nelly Furtado was honored to perform at the “Ravinia Festival” in the Highland Park of Illinois. She peformed songs of all of her albums “Whoa, Nelly!”, “Folklore”, “Loose” and “Mi Plan”. Ravinia is not the only great artist Nelly Furtado has worked with. She collaborated with Missy Elliot, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Alejandro Fernandez and Alex Cuba who is one of the producers of her latest album “Mi Plan”. One of the highlights was definitely the piano version of “Try” which is on her second album “Folklore”. Also a new thing was the rock mix of “Turn Off The Light” which is one of the singles of “Whoa, Nelly!”. Even a new song premiered: “Time Stands Still”. It is a song which belongs to a musical Nelly is in, “Score: A Hockey Musical”. “Typical of Nelly Furtado! All of her energy animated the audience to dance with her!”, is one of the statements of the concertgoers.
